Palm WebOS Phones Branching Out to AT&T

Looks like the Palm phones will be available on the AT&T network starting May 14th. That will give Palm three large cellular carriers to sell their WebOS smartphones, which can only be a good thing. So if you’re on Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T and want a Palm Pre or Pixi, you don’t need to switch carriers.

I think the best feature with the Pre/Pixi Pluses is the ability to make them into WiFi hotspots for wirelessly connecting laptops, iPads, etc. If you’ve got unlimited data on your cellular plan, then that’s a nice feature. Unfortunately, my 1st generation Palm Pixi through Sprint isn’t WiFi-enabled so I can’t make use of this feature.
